Ferrari has officially unveiled the new 458 Italia. The Ferrari 458 Italia will have its premiere at the next Frankfurt Auto Show in September. The new model is a synthesis of style, creative flair, passion and cutting-edge technology, characteristics for which Italy as a nation is well-known. For this reason Ferrari chose to add the name of its homeland to the traditional figure representing the displacement and number of cylinders.

The Ferrari 458 Italia is powered by a new 5.0 liter V8 engine developing 570 hp at 9000 rpm and 540 Nm of torque at 6000 rpm. The engine of the Ferrari 458 Italia is coupled with a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. The Ferrari 458 Italia emits 320 g/km of CO2 and has a fuel economy of 13.7 l/100 km in a combined cycle. The top speed of the Ferrari 458 Italia is 325 km/h and the car is able to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds.

Mazda has announced the European version of the facelifted Mazda RX-8. The 2010 model year RX-8 will take center stage at the Frankfurt Motor Show this September. The Mazda RX-8 include a new front bumper, new headlights, and LEDs incorporated into the rear lights. The front now brings the car more in line with the Mazda 3 and Mazda 6. Mazda is also using new side skirts, as well as new 19-inch alloy wheels.

Mazda will use the 1.3-liter rotary engine that provides 231 hp and 211 Nm for the new Mazda RX-8. The engine now has a second knock sensor, for increased efficiency. Using the six-speed manual, the new Mazda RX-8 car can reach 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. The car top speed out at 234 km/h (145 mph).
