2010 Kicherer Mercedes-Benz SLS Supersport Edition Black

2010 Kicherer Mercedes-Benz SLS Supersport Edition Black, Especially the aerodynamics have benefited from a high-class fine tuning. For this the developers developed and mounted a sports spoiler skirt at the front and special diffuser fins on the rear of the vehicle. All new parts designed by KICHERER are naturally made of high quality carbon. A further highlight on the sports car are the 3-part 20 inch RS-1 lightweight wheels. The classic double-spoke design harmonises perfectly with the equally classic sportscar silhouette of KICHERER’s SLS Supersport Edition Black.
For this a sports screw-thread suspension was fitted with a so-called “front-up” system. This enables not only a more sporty driving mode but also suits the sports car very well. In addition it allows the vehicle to be raised at the front at the press of a button so that obstacles such as entries to underground carparks and ?sleeping policemen” can be more easily overcome. 1991 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet
The body of the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet took after the CoupĂ©, presented in 1986. Both of these were rather shorter than the Saloon. Other stylistic features included the slightly flatter front and rear screens, an absence of B-pillars and just two doors. Nevertheless, conversion to the open-topped vehicle was extremely complex: in order to meet customary Mercedes-Benz levels of safety and quality the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet had to be fitted with numerous modified or redesigned structural components – approximately 1000 all-new design elements in total. In addition, the engineers designed a sophisticated protection system in the event of a rollover accident. This involved an extendable/retractable sensor-controlled linear rollover bar behind the rear passengers, which deployed automatically within 0.3 seconds in the event of a rollover accident. The A-pillars were also reinforced. The sum of all these measures brought the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet of the A 124 series – to give the model its precise in-house designation – to the same protection level as its closed counterpart.
The engineering in the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet came from the series’ four-door counterpart. Features that demonstrated the company’s innovative strength included, for example, the eccentric-sweep panoramic windscreen wiper, which offered the largest swept-area of any passenger car, as well as multi-link independent rear suspension and shock absorber strut independent front suspension located by individual wishbones. The braking system was also borrowed without modification from the Saloons. Read more
2010 Prior Design Mercedes-Benz SL R230 PD Series

A specially developed wheel/tyre combination is available as a complete set in the following sizes: Wheel rim PD1 (three-piece stainless steel outer bed, black finish), front axle 10×20 inch with 265/30R20, rear axle 12×20 inch with 305/25R20.
2009 Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG F1 Safety Car

The Official F1 Safety Car is also being fulfilled during this year’s new season by the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG. Its distinctive driving dynamics are a basic requirement for its challenging Formula 1 assignment: the AMG 6.3-litre V8 engine has a power output of 386 kW/525 hp, providing acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in 4.4 seconds. A newly developed AMG sport exhaust system with larger pipe diameter and special rear silencers allows the high-revving AMG naturally aspirated engine to breathe even more freely – and gives it an even sportier sound. Outstanding driving dynamics are guaranteed by the newly developed AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed sports transmission with column shift, which makes it possible to change gear in just 100 milliseconds.
